Designing for the Unknown is a lecture series sponsored by CONNECT, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Future Networks and Communications, organised by myself and the Orthogonal Methods Group. It aims to bring critical perspectives on the political, ethical, social and environmental issues concerning the design and development of future communications and network technologies. The first lecture in the series will host Professor Shannon Mattern from the New School in New York City.
